Our Mission

The 10th AAMDC is manned, trained, and equipped to perform its Wartime and Garrison missions in support of the Commander, US Europe Command/ the Supreme Allied Command Europe and the Commander, US Army Europe and Africa with competent and proficient subject matter experts soundly integrated with our joint and multinational partners in all aspects of air and missile defense operations.

  • Command Sgt. Maj. Kellen C. Rowley Biography

    CSM Kellen C. Rowley is a native of Rochester, NY and graduated from Penfield High School in June of 1999, later entering the United States Army on 25 April 2002. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, TX, where he was awarded the MOS of 14E: Patriot Fire Control Operator/Maintainer.

    CSM Rowley has served in various positions to include: Command Sergeant Major, 38th ADA BDE, Sagami Depot, Japan; Command Sergeant Major, 3-2 ADA, Fort Sill, OK; Operations Sergeant Major, Fires Center of Excellence G-3/5/7, Fort Sill, OK; First Sergeant, 3-6 ADA Air and Missile Defense Test Detachment, White Sands Missile Range, NM; First Sergeant, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery and B Battery 6-52 ADA, Suwon AB, Republic of Korea, Tactical Non-Commissioned Officer, 2nd Regiment, United States Corps of Cadets, West Point, NY; Battalion Master Evaluator, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery 5-7 ADA, Kaiserslautern Germany; Fire Control Platoon Sergeant, C Battery 5-7 ADA, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Fire Control Platoon Sergeant and Master Gunner D Battery 3-4 ADAR, Fort Bragg, NC; Senior Engagement Controller, D Battery 1-44 AMD, Fort Bliss, TX; and Engagement Controller E Battery 5-52 ADA, Fort Bliss, TX. CSM Rowley has also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and supported overseas missions in Israel, Poland, Kuwait, Australia, Philippines, Palau and Taiwan.

     

    CSM Rowley’s military education includes BLC, ALC and SLC, Patriot Master Gunner Course, MAJIC, Master Resilience Trainer, Battle Staff NCO Course, Unit Prevention Leader, HAZMAT, Combat Lifesaver Course, Combatives Level 1 Course, BN and BDE Pre-Command Course, CSM Development Course and Nominative Leader Course. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Course (Class 68), and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from American Military University and a Master in Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.

    His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (1 SLC) Army Commendation Medal (2nd OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4th OLC), Good Conduct Medal (6th award), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 4), the Driver’s Badge (Wheeled) and the Master Gunner Identification Badge. He has been a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Association since 2007 and is a member of the Ancient Order of Saint Barbara.

    CSM Rowley is married to his wife Doris Rowley and they have three sons, Holden, Ezra and Levi.
