Our Mission

The 10th AAMDC is manned, trained, and equipped to perform its Wartime and Garrison missions in support of the Commander, US Europe Command/ the Supreme Allied Command Europe and the Commander, US Army Europe and Africa with competent and proficient subject matter experts soundly integrated with our joint and multinational partners in all aspects of air and missile defense operations.

  • CW5 David T. Miller

    CW5 Miller was born in Greenfield, Indiana and entered the Indiana National Guard in June 1995; Active Duty Army in July 1999; and commissioned as a Warrant Officer in February 2006.

    He has held various positions all over the world on a variety of Air Defense platforms and roles including Bradley Linebacker Section Leader, WOES Senior Instructor, Joint Interoperability Division Instructor, and Joint Interface Control Officer at locations that include Fort Riley, Fort Sill, Fort Liberty, South Korea, and Germany.

    CW5 Miller attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina followed by Advanced Individual Training as a Water Purification Specialist (77W).  Upon entering Active Duty, he attended Advanced Individual Training as a Bradley Line Backer Crewman (14R) at Fort Bliss, Texas.  His military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Battle Staff Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Warrant Officer Basic Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course, Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education, Air Defense Airspace Management / Brigade Aviation Element Course, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Link 16 Planner’s Course, and Joint Interface Control Officer Course.

    CW5 Miller’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4nd Award), Army Commendation Medal (5th Award), Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (2 Knots), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (1 Campaign Star), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1 Campaign Star) Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (6th Award), NATO ISAF Medal, and the Combat Action Badge, Joint Staff Service Badge.

    CW5 Miller currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management from Trident University International.

    CW5 Miller is married to the former Heather Maestas of Albuquerque, New Mexico and they have two children.
