Our Mission

The 10th AAMDC is manned, trained, and equipped to perform its Wartime and Garrison missions in support of the Commander, US Europe Command/ the Supreme Allied Command Europe and the Commander, US Army Europe and Africa with competent and proficient subject matter experts soundly integrated with our joint and multinational partners in all aspects of air and missile defense operations.

  • Command Sgt. Maj. Henry A, Scott Biography

    CSM Henry A. Scott was born on 29 October 1977, in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from East High School, in Anchorage, AK, May of 1996. He enlisted in the Army on 11 August 1997 as a 14T Patriot Launching Station Crew member. He attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Sill, OK and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Bliss, TX.


    His duty stations include Charlie Battery, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defender Artillery, Ansbach, Germany (1998-2000); Echo Battery, 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery, Fort Bliss, Texas (2000-2002); Bravo Battery, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defender Artillery, Ansbach, Germany (2002-2005); Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas (2005-2009); Delta Battery, 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defender Artillery, Kaiserslautern, Germany (2009-2012); Bravo Battery 3rd Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, Oklahoma (2012-2015); Corps of Air Defense Element (CADE), III Corps, Fort Hood, Texas (2015-2018): 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery, Fort Hood, Texas (2018-2019); Combined Task Force Defender, Camp Carroll, South Korea (2019-2020), 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, Suwon Air Base, South Korea. (2020-2023), 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Hood, TX (2023-2025)

    He has served as a Patriot Launcher crewmember, Squad Leader, Senior and Small Group Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, Combined Task Force Defender Sergeant Major, Battalion Command Sergeant Major and Brigade Command Sergeant Major.


    His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (9OLC), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Knot), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War and Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 4), Combat Action Badge (CAB), Drivers Marksmanship Badge (Wheeled Vehicle) and the Basic Rifle Marksmanship Qualification Badge.


    His Military Education includes Pre-Command Course, Command Sergeant Majors Development Course, Sergeants Major Academy graduate class 68, Senior Leader Course (Commandants List), Advanced Leaders Course, Basic Leader Course, XO/S3/SGM Course, Master Resiliency Training Course, Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officer Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Company Commander/ First Sergeant Course, Combatives Level I Course, Basic Instructor Training Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, HAZMAT 12 and HAZMAT 11.


    His is also a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, a recipient of the Honorable Order of St.
    Barbara and Ancient Order of St. Barbara Award.


    His civilian education includes an Associates Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.


    He has two kids Marquis (23) who is a Sales Manager and Destiny (15), who will be a Sophomore in High School in Austin, TX.
